There are over 100 levels in the game and each with new challenge and different tactic to employ with. Though the range units are the most effective ones so try to unlock and upgrade these kinds of units early on. Anyways, here is an AOD3W Age of Defense 3 walkthrough to learn something from.
This game is fun only if you know what the best units are...for example, early on, the dino riders (the blue birds) are nearly undefeatable at first. Then, the machine gunners and rocket launchers are the next one to go for. Then go for the medieval warships with machine guns, and lastly go for the laser ships. Those are really the only units you'll need. So take the shortest tree path to those and you'll do great.
ReplyDeleteBut don't forget to unlock the powers that go with those too...they'll get slaughtered without it after a long time. But for a good time, just send wave wave of one of those units I mentioned, and you will be literally undefeatable!!!
One last thing...the medieval warship, with its upgrade to machine gun fire, is probably the single most powerful unit in the game. So especially focus on getting that one. The only one that comes close is the laser ship but it's expensive and you can't get the upgrade for some reason.
